why i try to paint

I LOVE to paint. :) While music is my thing i enjoy painting. I just like to let my hand go and see what happens rarely do i ever start with an idea of what i want to do. I mean i've tried a few times with drawing and liked it some of the time but most of the time i didn't really care for my end result lol.
When i get my "studio" set up i need to have a corner devoted to painting and drawing lol :) It gives me a form of release that singing and playing music don't. I listen music and just let the paint take me away. It's just so calming and such a peaceful time. Kind of like crocheting is for me only it's like i'm in a calm cool lake looking up at the Autumn Sky taking in the scene of the brown and auburn leaves drifting from the tops of trees. i think i'll paint tomorrow maybe if i feel like setting my station up lol. Lots of preparation sine i have it all stored cuz there's no room in my room to have it out all the time :( plus this computer takes up a lot of desk space.
So I found out that this little mic i have is really a great mic all i needed was an interface to record it with to really bring out it's potential lol. Mic'd a piano and it sounded wonderful. I need to play around with the placement some more but i mean dang SOOO good lol. Once i get a job and get money so i can buy stuff and experiment i'll actually have some musicy things to talk about :) Through the litte bit that i've heard about cables and the small amount that i have learned in the past 2 weeks at citrus SOO much has opened up in my world of possibilities lol. I feel kind of dumb and noobish but just because i can and i like to do things that normally aren't done i want to make a mic cable... but not just any mic cable. i mean i plan to build my own cables but this one is going to a y-cable that i don't think many people have seen and it's all for my special mic... it's going to have the 1/8 inch mono female connectors combine to one xlr input. Basically taking a stereo mic and putting it into a single balanced channel. This way i can use it live in more locations if i so choose :D it'd be real fun to mic guitar with on stage :P We'll cross the stage micing bridge when we get to it lol.
I just love the little thing and i can't wait to get to J-lords tomorrow to have another little mic shootout. But this time it will be all of my mics :) i wish i could shootout the KSM32 tomorrow too maybe if i can sell a kidney lol jk jk i like my kidneys where they are... inside me lol.
