Contemplations

Well i'm sitting here at 4 effing 30 listening the wonderful sounds of Regina. Working on some new music. I seem to have found a muse. I think lol. I'm inspired but at the same time i find it difficult to finish some of it. But i'm inspired none the less. Well i shojld probablt go to sleep now i have class in the morning. I don't really want to go but wut ev. Once classes are all done i want to clean and gut my room and only work on music and art related things. Music, painting, crochet, etc. HAHA. Yeah... well i'm too tired to type anything else coherent lol so g'night world. I love you all.

I believe love conquers all ^_^ yup yup!

Technology bites hard sometimes

My mac is still down which means no recording for this young lad. :( And now i want to throw my phone through a wall and put the foot through my dell's motherboard. The stupid thing inverted the screen for some unknown reason. Just surfin the net then all of a sudden black screen then everything comes back and the color isn't as sharp and the picture is up-side freakin down. Well my motivation to do anything is kinda dead. wutever i'm going to go finish a song now...

Just a little update...

So i'm using the old dell... lol YAY!!! (no...) And that whole bit of nonsense not liking to blog from computers that aren't mine... load of crock but at the same time still a bit true lol. Just doesn't feel the same. At least not from a computer connected to me in some way like through a friend or a school haha. Anywho...

My mac is down not sure for how long but that kinda makes recording anything rather difficult if not impossible lol because i don't have the software on this dell (like it could handle it anyway) and the dell isn't exactly portable so even if i did it wouldn't really matter. Wouldn't use it anyway because this computer is super loud... to me anyway haha. So now i'm working on lyrics and writing music out by hand need to really get on working on carols so i can have something to bring to the table. Well goodnight all. And feedback is greatly accepted, warranted, and received by any and all who read :) Thank you. I love you people of the world :D

So my computer is down. It may be a little while until i can update i don't like blogging from computers that aren't mine :( i should have backed up my hd.

Realizations...

I'm reminded of something that i say and will stand by until the day that I die.

Without love there is no life.

God loves us therefore we exist.

As a people we need to love more. The world is already filled with hate and rage. Now it's time for us to make it better. To hold the world to a higher standard by standing up for what is right and never backing down or abandoning true love, mercy, forgiveness, willingness to help out your fellow man, and most importantly each other.

We need love to live. Love is at the very basis of life and creation. The most magnificent achievements that we as men accomplish are driven by love for that aspect of life the vast majority of the time. As you love more and become more genuine there will be more hurt in your life but the love that you experience will be like no other. I just want to encourage all of you to love like there is no tomorrow because tomorrow isn't promised. I am also challenging myself to change the way i think and carry out my life. :) We can do this. I love you all.

About life...

When i put up this blog i didn't want it to be a place where i put my feelings and shared with the world what i'm dealing with internally. Didn't want it to be a vent page. But then i read the title again. These are songster scribblins. I sing about life. I decided to look the word up and was like... whoa... i called myself this without really knowing it was an actual defined word.

Not for the glory and all that but for the experience. Becoming a part of history means i'm going to have some good times touch some good people and have a great time doing it. I want to spread music. Soon i will be in a band. I'm not going to let it become this thing we talk about for years and then never actually do. I want to live more than the dream... i want to live my destiny.

Nothing Yet

I've been using the mic and i like it alot. Nothing to post yet soon though I'll have up some covers and whatnot. I haven't been in the best frame of mind place. I'm going to make it a goal to record at least one song/ thing/ series of things a week. It may be an actual cover of a song or it could be a voice demo reel type thing. Maybe even an actual audition for a voice-over spot. You never know. I'm going to record nature one day and have that be ambient sound in the back of a track. :) There is a certain specific sound i could record all day long :) I would do it happily. Oh and you all just lost the game... lol. Sorry it was bound to happen sooner or later. Right now I'm listening to Pomplamoose. So good. Listening to their version of O Come All Ye Faithful. Makes me want to do a Christmas Album haha :) Well i must be off.

Ello everybody. So it's official. I have my mic now, ram for the mac, and a better pair of headphones on the way :) i got the models mixed up i have the ksm27 as opposed to the ksm32 but the one i have is still legit and super versatile. i still need a cable for the mic so i can get some stuff up soon. i should have a cable on Monday :) I had a little recording sesh with my cousin in the bathroom haha. had everything set up and there wasn't much space lol the bathroom is kinda narrow. i plan on building a little mock vocal booth in a corner in my room lol. Consisting of cardboard, sheets, and that cheap bead foam you get at walmart or wherever lol. I'm hungry... i think i'll go make some oatmeal now. :)

Ok so a friend of mine has agreed to be a benefactor of sorts lol. So i'll have my mic and everythingish i need to get some real stuff going in the right direction in the next week. Looking forward to gettting so quality recordings and learning how to use a Really nice condenser properly lol. Going to rerecord my first hit among my friends haha, Word To Ya Motha. :P REALLY looking forward to getting the mic and a decent pair of headphones that can last my rugged travel life for more than a month haha or just don't plain suck... Anyway once i figure out how to post music in the blog like embed it i'll do it and you can hear what i'm up to haha. probably just use limelinx haha.well night all i'm quite tired only got 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night. But apparentlyi need to start getting used to that. In my field that's normal lol. Goodnight world. Goodnight beautiful people. Oh and i really want to learn Korean still :)

Blah Blah

I seem to have failed again at finishing something productive yesterday. I can hear the music but then sometimes when i come back to it it's like what was i thinking. This sounds HORRIBLE... anyway... guess that just means i need to pick myself up and try again :) Started working some more on the choral piece. I love the human voice i have a lot of ideas i want to use but i'm not sure whether or not i'll finish this piece in time for my friends concert. even if i can i need to make the parts easy enough to be learned by the end of this month... OH CRAP!!! i don;t have very much time. I need to do this. well i need to get off of here so i can take a quick shower and be on my way. should see you all soon with some music :D Power to the language of love :) OH and i finally have a mac...i mean it's "ancient" Ibook G4 1.2 gHz, 256mb of RAM (upgradeable to 1.25gb) 27gb of actual memory space, and running OSX 10.4.11 using Garageband 2.0.2 haha. I really miss Logic lol. One day soon. if anyone knows of any jobs lemme know :)

So today i got to hang with one of my close friends and talk about music and equipment and voice acting :D it was great time. I really sincerely and truly love music and sound in it's entirety but i still lack the passion i once had... It's still in me i can feel it. on a side note... stuff...

The music...

The music i hear a feel... the poetry i can taste and see growing deep within me trying to break out of this shell that is my mind to spill onto the page and twitch through my fingertips to hit the keyboard and convey the thoughts into actions visible to other eyes.

I'm sitting here listening to some Nas and working on a choral piece. I got a lot more than i had done tonight... Nas is seriously one of the sickest rappers ever. I like rap a lot. Rhythm and poetry. I have the poetry and i have the rhythm. I want to rap but be an MC... not really sure but i know i want to put rhythm and words together no matter the topic. Alot of what i say is nonsensical or just not what you would expect to hear someone actually rap about... No one does it so it leaves it open for me to have free flow kinda constantly changing topic within the rhyme. I have a term for it but i don;t want to put it here because the whole world has access to it lol. But yeah haha. Well i'm going to go now. I want to let music consume me. Passion FLOW!!!!

My music is to share. I want to share it all with you. God gave me something to spread. I would be a fool and a butt not to use what is in me. I love you all.

Where anything is a possibility and if i mess up i can always get back up and try again. Or make it better. I want to just write what i hear for you all.

For the past 2 years of my life. I 'm ready to write again and actually get somewhere. I want to fearless in music again. See it through the eyes of a child.

So much for that...

So much for the blog-a-day venture lol. My pre-amp kit came in today and i'm excited to start assembling it :) i need to get a new soldering iron though. one that will allow me to get a fresh start learning how to solder properly with a clean tip... i just about wrecked my iron and i need more solder. The solder i have now is way too thick lol. i have 2 hours to recycle some bottle shower and pack for tonight. CHAMBER TONIGHT!!! SOOO EXCITED!!! :) Well i guess i'll be going now. Still far behind on my choral piece... dang...

why i try to paint

I LOVE to paint. :) While music is my thing i enjoy painting. I just like to let my hand go and see what happens rarely do i ever start with an idea of what i want to do. I mean i've tried a few times with drawing and liked it some of the time but most of the time i didn't really care for my end result lol.
When i get my "studio" set up i need to have a corner devoted to painting and drawing lol :) It gives me a form of release that singing and playing music don't. I listen music and just let the paint take me away. It's just so calming and such a peaceful time. Kind of like crocheting is for me only it's like i'm in a calm cool lake looking up at the Autumn Sky taking in the scene of the brown and auburn leaves drifting from the tops of trees. i think i'll paint tomorrow maybe if i feel like setting my station up lol. Lots of preparation sine i have it all stored cuz there's no room in my room to have it out all the time :( plus this computer takes up a lot of desk space.
So I found out that this little mic i have is really a great mic all i needed was an interface to record it with to really bring out it's potential lol. Mic'd a piano and it sounded wonderful. I need to play around with the placement some more but i mean dang SOOO good lol. Once i get a job and get money so i can buy stuff and experiment i'll actually have some musicy things to talk about :) Through the litte bit that i've heard about cables and the small amount that i have learned in the past 2 weeks at citrus SOO much has opened up in my world of possibilities lol. I feel kind of dumb and noobish but just because i can and i like to do things that normally aren't done i want to make a mic cable... but not just any mic cable. i mean i plan to build my own cables but this one is going to a y-cable that i don't think many people have seen and it's all for my special mic... it's going to have the 1/8 inch mono female connectors combine to one xlr input. Basically taking a stereo mic and putting it into a single balanced channel. This way i can use it live in more locations if i so choose :D it'd be real fun to mic guitar with on stage :P We'll cross the stage micing bridge when we get to it lol.
I just love the little thing and i can't wait to get to J-lords tomorrow to have another little mic shootout. But this time it will be all of my mics :) i wish i could shootout the KSM32 tomorrow too maybe if i can sell a kidney lol jk jk i like my kidneys where they are... inside me lol. Today

Today I went to get on the list for my classes. I'm going to believe that when I go Wednesday to see the list of people who got in I will be on it :). I still need to money for books though and for another class I hadn't expected I would need to enroll in. I really look forward to my classes. Both classes look really good :D I can't wait to get my KSM and start recording with it. I'll be recording everything I have lol :P

I'm listening to the beautiful Jane Lui right now. Illusionist Boy. i love her voice just so peaceful :) Not much new to blog on other than the fact that i haven't started on my piece yet... I'm a bad person lol. I'll get this show going. It's not going to be a super long piece. There will be recurring themes so it's all good... I can't wait to start working on it though. I still have a couple more weeks lol. Then i can tweak as much as i want. As long as i have well structured skeleton with muscles and ligaments i can put the skin and hair on as we go lol. :) Well i guess I'm off lol. I guess you can say i have a little crush on Jane Lui haha no idea whether there is someone in her life lol so I'm good haha. It may just be her voice but whatever lol. Oh and i'm closer to getting my mic :D

Not Far to Go...

I have to go in on the 30th and crash 2 classes and test out of another. I need another 150 to get my classes and the books that i need. I need a job lol. I love music and music is what i want to do and konw that i meant to do with the rest of my life. not sure how grammatically correct that was but i don't really care right now lol. My interface isn't working with my computer right now. I'll have to restart it and see if i can get things going again that way haha. I need to make some music and record some too. i have a little bit of money comin in soon and i'm not sure if i should buy some more ram for this computer or just save it for classes. The ram would aid GREATLY in my job search i'm pretty sure because my comp won't freeze up every 5 seconds. I'm thankful for this computer but i mean dang... lol. Not much to say other than i'm glad for family. God help us all. night

Slowly but surely

So today i looked at my account on youtube and i now have 4 subscribers up from 2 lol i know them all lol but still haha. I was reading something earlier and it kinda got me thin kin a little bit. I mean it's late so i'm really thinkin about ti as much as i could lol. But what i got out of it was they were questioning their existence and the purpose of family. Life is defined by death is a basic theme that i got from it. In a sense yes this is true the length of life is simply the time that death is absent. Once we die we start eternity with God or in another place. What's the point of doing anything? I've wondered that before. But i've recently realized that if I'm going to be here rather than waste away i'd rather do something good with my life and bring joy to others and work at Being what God would have me be. In regards to family... whether blood or bond in the end after all your possessions have faded and crumbled away the only thing that is going to be left is the love of people (family) and the love of God. family is important... I don't know i'm rambling... All i want to do in life really is spread love but with that i know that i'll be presented with ample opportunity to hate and hold grudges. Music is flowing in me... i can feel it. i feel a physical moving in me when i get lost in music when i get lost in worship. I need to sleep but never let your mouth cease to worship God. Though the mouths around you may be silent and the jaws may be clamped never let this world take God away from you.

ARRGH ME MATEYS!!!

Ok so last night i went to bed around 9:15 hence why no blog. was doing stuff up until then. I was going to bed in order to wake up earlier :) I did but not as early as i had expected to. I have been waking up around 11 11:45 ish going to bed around you know anywhere from 2 in the morning to 4 lol. So i assumed that i would wake up closer to 6 8 ish... no.... i woke up at !):#)... this < is what happens when you try to cap numbers lol if you can decode that i woke up at 10:30!!!!!!! I slept for over 13 hours after going to bed early... not cool Anyway lol. Music stuff is going well i'm building bar chord stamina. Learned a new song yesterday for worship and it is comprised of the same 4 chords... C#m A E and F#m C#m and F#m are both bar chords but to make transitioning easier (or so i thought) i play barchord A which is one fret from C#m as opposed to a 3 fret leap (not that big a deal just like bar A more in terms of sound) so three barchords i'm basically repeating over and over again lol for like a good 5 8 minutes lol. a long way to say that my hand was HURTING!!! halfway through lol. I know you don't care but i'm used to bar chords that much lol. A lesson in stamina. Still waiting for that mic :) and oh boy is that day going to be sweet :D. Well have a good night all. Oh and i still need to work on my choral piece. still not sure what i want to do though... Lots of inspiration though from Stroope's setting of I Am Not Yours by Sara Teasdale... SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PIECE!!!

Time for a change

Well my sleeping habits still leave a lot to be desired... That is going to change soon. Don't really have much to write tonight. I am slowly beginning to grow in my music again. :) I need to start working on a piece that i'm supposed to have debut in a concert coming up. I LOVE choral music. So i can't wait to start classes at Citrus this fall. I look forward to getting a jump on this recording deal and getting back to APU soon. I realized that i'll probably go with that bible minor considering i can get it done in the same amount of time as my degree would take. not staying a semester longer than needed lol TOO expensive haha. But yeah we'll see. I know that i'll eventually lead worship somewhere when the time is right. Well seeing as i would like to sleep i'm going to go now and i guess as i write more music i'll write about that and my inspiration. Maybe one day when i actually have some content worth reading lol I can make a book out of this blog. Still can't wait to get my mic. Once i get gigs and start learning about the trade of audio engineering i'll have A LOT more to write about. I'm considering changing my major to theory or composing or the likes if it'll get me out sooner lol. But i'll probably just stick with my beloved music ed degree :). Night all

Early Blog Early SLEEP!

:) hello all i'm blogging early to tell you that i have nothing in particular to blog about tonight. I'm trying to get enrolled in classes at Citrus and i just realized that i can test out of one of my classes. it would kind of be a waste of time and money for me to be in that class when i already know all the material and i have abook at home that i've learned from that i can refresh myself on everything with. not paying 100 plus bucks for a book and class i don't need. lol
but yeah i love you all and have a wonderful night.

It's been a while

It's 1:46 in the morning and i'm still awake. I'll start going to bed earlier soon. But i'm listening to choir music right now on youtube and i found a piece by Z. Randall Stroope. Absolutely beautiful piece "I Am Not Yours". Stroope is a wonderful composer and he is one of my influences. I love choral music. I love the music that can be made with an instrument that is a part of us. No other instrument has it's intimacy and intricacies. The voice is such an amazing instrument and a gift to us all. There isn't much more to say tonight other than music heals and right now i need some healing and God is working in me. I want to make music that speaks to something in you and calls forth life. No matter what i may be talking about. I love you all have a wonderful evening and keep each other in your prayers. :)

Ello

I figured out the issues i was having with my stuff saturday :) That made me happy. Today was kind of a slow day for me. I woke up kinda late so not much got accomplished. But i'm going to start going to bed before the next day starts lol. I should eventually get to where i can go to bed at 10 no problem or 9 and wake up at 5. Need ta make some cash to pay off these loans and get my mic in my hands :) And so i can be less of a financial burden on folks.

I still feel like a little kid sometimes. I guess it's because i surround myself with people older than me or people who are moving forward and maturing. Not much really to say here. But regardless of whether i join the military or not i need to get disciplined otherwise my music will never reach where i know it can, should, and God wants it to go. That's part of what this bed deal is about. I need to change the way i eat... I have an addiction to sugar and carbs. Well sorry i missed sunday's blog. Not that many people are reading this yet maybe one person. But still this is the only physically consistent thing in my personal life right now lol. Kinda sad huh. but still i'll get my act to together. Night people.

My day today

Hello one hello all :) SO today was a pretty good day. woke up and relaxed mostly. Took a shower finally lol. Was suppose to go to an open mic night but that kinda fell through. I'l find one around my house that i can go to soon. So i shold have enough money soon to get my KSM out of holding. I CAN'T WAIT!!! I'll have enough to get some cables and pay bills soon then i need to find some work still. I don't know why i'm blogging when all i really do is journal lol There's no real topic of discussion. Well I'm borrowing my friends preamp. It's a Presonus Bluetube. I love that thing. Sounds so good. There's a single channel version of it at the pawn shop by my house. I may just get it.

Today was pretty much just hang out with Josh and Nathan. and go to bed at a decent hour lol. I totally just though today was some phantom day lol. I ost track of time and forgot what happened what day lol. This is why you shouldn't stay up 5 hours into the next day lol. Well i love music and recording. I plan to make this what i do in life :) Then teach once i've had the experiences of life andm y students don't have a rookie for a teacher lol. They'll have a seasoned vet :D Life choices.... soo many of them. Well goodnight my lovlies. Soon i'll have a following who cares about how my day was and i'll have more entertaining antics for them lol.

Yo late night bloggin lol. Just got done seeing the pops for the first time in like 2 1/2 years. it was only for a couple of hours but hey to was good to see him. Sittin in the little area by the elevators in tower c at the Hard Rock Hotel in Vegas. Just got done playing the penny slots lol. I basically just lost a deluxe value meal at Wendy's or a pack of picks. Either way i don't gamble and this is proly the conclusion lol until i actually have a nice positive cash flow and even then i'll proly only drop like ten haha. I'm glad i came with the fam if only to see him. but i'm glad i got to see the fam from out of town :) need to figure out what to do for a sec lol just got done drinkin a BIG soda can't sleep yet. Lookin forward to getting that interface thursday. Now seems like as good a time as any to blog. We're almsot home from Vegas about ten minutes from the house. It was nice to see everyone and spend a little bit of time with them. I'm most likely going to just go right to bed, i might wash a small load of clothes first but yeah we'll see. I need 30 more bucks to get that interface then i'll be recording ^_^ just need a mic cable then when i get back i'll be able to borrow my uncles comp when he's not using it and make some decent scratch tracks in Garageband :) i should be able to get that KSM32 sooner than 4 months. more like one. i just need to find some work like odd jobs and stuff. well i'm home and pretty much done with tonights blog. have a great night muzr and i should be writing more soon. WUT IT DO?

ok i'm late night bloggin proly gunna sleep forever tomorrow lol. Sorry my las few blogs were crap lol. The text thing doesn't work when i send 7 texts as on lol. Technology can be so finicky sometimes lol. Well new news. I now have an interface. My home recording studio is slowly being built and growing. Right now it looks as though i'll be buying all of my components like paying of that mic and buying a preamp and what not before i get a comp. so 2 mics a dynamic and a condenser, an interface, and a preamp will be the beginnings of my setup.

Right now i'm listening to Jane Lui and staying up way to friggin late but listening to Jane makes it ok lol :P. I've made some major progress on my songs. My buddy Jonathan Lord gave me some songwriting tools that he learned in a songwriting class he took :) GOOD stuff man. I'm almost done with two that i've been "working" on for a while now lol. I love my little M-audio Mobile Pre. I got it for 50 bucks. my eyes are so heavy. I was foing so well going to bed on time lol. I really want to run face first into my girlfriend lol. wherever she may be may her lips be longing for mine lol for mine long for hers... ok enough of the mushy stuff wouldn't want you up-chuckin on your keyboard. Jane Lui so pleasant lol :D i want her album. I need money so i can support her. I can't wait for Take Me For Now to be done. well i'm up way too late about to be up later... lol Nate just walked in like 2minutes ago. listening to something he worked on today.

Oh I got to record on my buddy Brian Svehaug's album. I'm the whistle on one of his tracks :) on my way to being a pro whistler. :D well i'm tired and have nothing else to say i guess lol. I look forward to recording more and making good music that i love and people who love real music will love :) love you all. Lookies like ima be raomin round for the week or so. goin to vegas with the fam will proly be away from a computer for a couple of days :( but hey i need it lol. I just set it up so i can blog via my phone. my thumbs will be quite tired lol. Still tryna make that green :P lol. i WANT THAT MIC IN MY HANDS!!!! :D

right now i'm a little frustrated lol. I'm trying to get my keyboard working in Ableton but it ain't workin. I need to get it working lol. so i can hear a bit better what one of my covers is going to potentially sound like. Albeit it's gunna be crappy lol because of the midi instruments but i'll be able to get the sounds worked out more clearly lol. I really like saying lol. Every other word seems to be lol.

ok So.. I've put the down payment on that KSM32 at the pawn shop. Turns out they have a layaway thing. Now though i find out that this mic is kind of weak and i want a mic that ain't dainty. I mean i can understand ribbons but not condensers. CAn i just say how much i miss my quit typing mac. Pc keyboards can be so LOUD!!! kinda annoying lol. ANyway i digress.

They have an AKG which usually sounds a bit warmer which is what i like WARMTH ^_^ so good for harmonies. FLat harmonies are like muffins that aren't moist. Just kind of there. Want some character in my sound. Well we'll see what happens... maybe the mic will turn out to be better than my friend and another respected audio engineer think about it and as good as the reviews say. But good thing is i have 30 days to take it back and trade it in for somethin else of the same value. Well all for tonight. Things will get more interesting i promise just give me some time to have something to rant about, talk about, and discuss. thankyou for following me and for reading. Signing off... ok Short and too the point

Ok. So not much happened today. Tried to work on some music and some of a song finished lol. Mostly just wasted time today which isn't good. I have a lot to think about and need to finish these songs so that i can perform them at this open mic next week. Literally a week away so i need to get busy. Well to all have a good night/ morning and i'll get bettter at writing more. I'm over the three day hump so this should hopefully stay pretty consisitent. When i get everything i need to record and put vids up on youtube i plan to do at least one a week. Do one i want every week and the do a song that has been requested every other week or whatever. whichever happens happens lol :) goodnite all.

I want to be me

Ok. So, so far i'm failing pretty hard when it comes to the songwriting thing lol have written nothing new i have to write 2 tonight before i go to sleep to catch up lol. And i'm actually going to bed before 2 wut? I reall want to try this thing out called going to sleep when i'm actually tired. it's never too early to sleep unless it's too early lol. Well i'm going to read some bleach then write some then go to bed.

Still tryin to figure out the money situation and what to blog about other than my life lol. i mean i know i need some actual content to put up so when i get readers they don't die from babble eye lol. This condition will set in after reading an excess of babble. I REALLY want that mic. I mean it's such a great mic according to reviews. Seen nothing bad about it. So new music to be up soon. hopefully in the next couple of weeks i can get this thing rolling along. One song will be about how i just want to break free and do the things that make me happy but i know people will think i'm crazy for it. and i guess another song about food maybe.

Well people stay dry, tip your waiters/ waitresses, and brush your teeth cavities bite... does anyone else see the irony in the cavity statement lol :P.

Day 2 Recording discoveries

So I just remembered that i had ableton live lite 5. So i decided to crak it out and see what it's about lol. Turns out i was eligible for an update to live lite 8 :D score. So now i don't have to mess around with poopy FL Studio. Although it may turn out that FL was better i don't know it was a dmeo so i didn't waste my time figuring my way through it.

Now i have live lite 8. let's see what this puppy can do. All that's left now is to get an interface some ram and a mic... well i have a mic lol. 2... ones the mic from my xbox ROFL and the other is my AT DR-VX1 mic or somethin or other. Standard dynamic. haven't heard it hope it sounds good :) I found a Shure KSM32 at a pawn shop by my house. They have it shockmount and all for 169!!! OMG i think it comes with a case but yeah if anyone has any odd jobs for me i'll do them!!! I WANT THAT MIC!!!! Well thanks for reading tonite edition of the Songster Scribblins. :)

I really hope that this blog kinda takes off like it did for Julia lol in Julie and Julia only instead i end up becoming a musician... lol which is going to happen anyway regardless of how well this blog does lol. Oh and i really enjoy Jane Lui's voice and music. Southern Winds got me hooked on Jane lol such a pretty song. you should check it out like NOW!!!

AHHGGH i feel like ants are crawling on me... ugh!

The first of many to come...

This is the first of many to come. First off i'm up WAY too late. This is one habit i need to change. I will attempt to challenge myself for a certain amount of time (yet to be decided) to write a song a day. No matter how bad or well versed it is. As long as it comes from the heart. i will also attempt to blog everyday. This may be difficult in some situations when no computer is available but we'll see what happens.

For those of you wondering i am Ray Fairley a.k.a. Speedjenga. i am a singer/ songwriter who has so far completed 3 songs but is currently attempting to finish a multitude of different works haha. I have many poems completed but lack in songs that are finished and ready to be polished. I guess i'll kind of just write about what's going on in my life and processes when writing my songs and how i'm coming along with them. not really sure yet.

Well right now i'm looking for work so that I can start up my home based recording studio/ get some equipment to allow me to put covers up on youtube that are better than normal. I ramble when i'm tired. Looks like it's time to go to bed. I'll talk to you all later. If you're reading thanks :)
